Pakistan Army Chief visit to United Kindom

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the UK Mod and met his counterpart. During his visit, Major Gen. Asif Ghafoor, the spokesman of Pakistan Armed Forces was also with him.

According to Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), General Bajwa discussed the geo-static and bilateral military cooperation with the Chief of Defence Staff of UK, Sir Nick Carter.

Pak Army chief is in the UK on an official visit where he will conduct meetings with senior civil-military officials.

On Saturday, General Bajwa while talking to International Institute of Strategic Studies in London said that Pakistan is on the cusp of achieving sustainable, irreversible, enduring peace and stability. He further said that We are working on the improvement of Country's internal security so that to increase the investment opportunities.

During his visit to the UK, On Sunday, General Bajwa also visited the Lord Cricket Stadium to enjoy the match of Cricket World Cup between Pakistan Vs South Africa in which Pakistan defeats South Africa by 49 runs.
