ISLAMABAD: Counter-Terrorism Department or CTD has arrested JuD Chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed from Gujranwala on the charges of Terrorism and anonymous collection of charity/funds.

Hafiz Saeed is a big critic of India since Indian forces started their atrocities on the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir. He is the chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawah, an organization that works for Charity and fundraising to provide relief to poor people all over the country. Jamaat-ud-Dawah is being accused of funding terrorism inside India thus this organization is banned by India, United States and now by Pakistan.

The organizations under Hafiz Saeed is also running many Religious Schools/Madarasa all over the country in which thousands of students are getting their religious education.

Now, this is not the first time, when Pakistani authorities have arrested Hafiz Saeed, But in the past, many cases were filed on him by the state since then he was successfully able to prove his innocence before the High courts.

On the other hand, India is still accusing him of sponsoring militancy in Indian Occupied Kashmir but till no proof is given by Indian Authorities to Pakistan. This proves Indians are only making their claims in the air without any sense.
