PAKISTAN: Burhan Muzaffar Wani Shaheed was a Freedom Fighter of Kashmir. He took up arms against Indian Forces when his elder brother, Khalid Muzaffar Wani was brutally tortured and then killed by Indian Security Forces. He was born in 1994 in Dadasara, Tral -- A small village in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
On 2010, Burhan Wani joined the Hizbul Mujahideen (A group which works for Freedom of Kashmir from Indian Occupation). He remained in Hizbul Mujahideen as a Commander till 2016. On 8 July 2016, Indian Forces raided a house in Bumdoora Village, in which Burhan Wani along with two other companions was present. His aim in life was to free his homeland (Kashmir) from Indian Occupation.
After his death, the people of whole Kashmir Valley came out of their houses. A large number of the crowd (nearly 200,000 People) participated in the funeral of Burhan Wani and they stone-pelted the security forces. He body was wrapped in the Flag of Pakistan.
Today is the 3rd Martyrdom Anniversary of Burhan Wani but still Indian Forces are continuing their attrocities on the People of Kashmir. Internet and Communication services are all suspended by Indian authorities.
Till now, Burhan Wani is still alive in the hearts of Kashmiri people. He is a shining symbol of Struggle for the whole Kashmir Valley.
